4 Easy Ways To Make Money From Blog

Have you ever seen a Google AdSense banner on a website?  That white box on a website with all the Google links on it. Well, if you clicked any of those links, guess what, you got the owner of the website you found the link on paid! Each link is a website that pays Google for traffic, then because the traffic came from your website, Google pays you.

Basically all you do to implement this strategy is sign up with a PPC network and paste a bit of code on your website. The network will serve ads that are relevant to the content on your website and depending on the industry, you'll get paid for each click on the ads.

Adsense 

AdSense is a ‘contextual’ advertising program where publishers simply add a piece of code to their blogs that helps Google analyze what your page is about so they can serve ads on that topic. This increases the chances of your readers clicking the ad which increases the chances that you’ll earn something from them.

AdSense also provide a variety of other income streams to bloggers including a site search tool (you make money by people searching your site) and referral tools (where you can make money by recommending Google products).

CPM Advertising Networks

Cost per Mille advertising works a lot like PPC Advertising, except it's based on the cost per 1,000 impressions. CPM is a great alternative to PPC if you have high volumes of traffic and a decent design that integrates a banner. In CPM the higher the ad is to the top of the page, the more you get paid.

Sponsors for Single Columns or Events

If you are going all the way with your blog and creating a specific column, sponsors are a great option. What I mean by specific column is a podcast or interview series, something that is happening in regular intervals and gets a following.

If you decide to go with that style of content, you can find a company that is willing to sponsor that segment, pop in a quick shout out to the company as a thanks for sponsoring and wallah!  You've generated some good income. Many of the successful web tv style shows and podcasts are using this method. If you've got a good following, and a niche listener, you can demand a nice dollar amount from your sponsor.

Affiliate Marketing 

Basically as an affiliate, a company pays you every time you get someone to purchase their product.You can imagine how well this fits into the blog business model we've built. You're talking about a subject you are passionate and knowledgeable about and you're attracting people to your content. They are also passionate about your subject. (and getting more knowledgeable every time they read your stuff, right?!) Chances are, you can suggest a few products to them that you love and they'll love them to.
