How to watch live tv online on VLC Player

Now there are some live channels for free on VLC media player. All channels Video will stream as 3gp quality.There are some live news channels,entertainment channels,sports channels,etc. Just follow the following steps 

1. Open VLC media player.

2. Go to Media and then click on "Streaming" 

Now a new pop-up window opens. Go to the network tab and enter the URL of the tv channel (from the list of TV channels given below) that you wish to see in the URL bar as shown


For e.g. For CNBC TV 18 , enter this URL - rtsp://ss1c6.idc.mundu.tv:554/prf0/cid_35.sdp

4. Now click on the small upside arrow next to the stream
 tab and press play.
