How to add Start Menu to Windows 8
Hi friends I know your are enjoying your Windows 8 OS, but somewhat uncomfortable with absence of start menu. Microsoft has redesigned its interface to modern level and optimized highly for touch screen devices, that's why general PC and laptop user needs to play hard at the beginning. I have submitted some options to add Start menu to Windows 8.
1. StartMenu8
StartMenu8 is specially designed for Windows 8. It offers a perfect
solution for users who work with Windows Start Menu all the time and are
not accustomed to the new Metro start screen in Windows 8. This smart
tool brings back both the start button and Windows Start Menu, and
offers the option to skip Metro start page, allowing users who only work
on desktop to boot to Windows 8 desktop directly.
(Note: Above download link automatically updates to newer version, so there may be changes to version and file size as per time.)
2. Classic Shell
Classic Shell is a collection of features that were available in older
versions of Windows but were later removed. It has a customizable Start
menu and Start button for Windows 7 and Windows 8, it adds a toolbar for
Windows Explorer and supports a variety of smaller features.

3. Pokki StartMenu
Pokki Start menu user best suited for new modern user interface of
Windows 8. This start menu is very innovative icons are arranged along
with notification feature which is quietly brilliant. Pokki uses lots of
resources so we recommended this application for higher ram (2GB or
<) pc and laptop.
